AI & Analytics Engineer (m/f/x)

Graz (AUT) hybrid | Full-time (38,5h/week) or Part-time (min 20h/week initially limited to finish study, then full-time) | Immediate Start

What youll be doing:

As a part of the product engineering team, you become an AI & Analytics research and engineering expert for our complex SaaS BSS enterprise software. Enhance AI Services by combining research and code! Within your main tasks, you will

• create and maintain features for our rapidly evolving AI and Data Analytics suites.
• drive innovation by performing research for new technologies in the areas of LLM integration, ML and Data Analytics.
• improve our AI and Analytics architecture
• continuously improve our high-performance data analytics models.

What you bring to the role:

• You have (almost) competed IT education (HTL, FH, TU - in Data Science, Big Data, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Design, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Intelligent Systems, etc.) or comparable self-learned IT skills.
• You are eager to learn new things, adapt quickly, and continuously expand and share your expertise.
• You understand how LLMs and ML work and you are not feared against new technologies.
• You have first relevant experience from professional, student, private projects, or internships (0.5-3 years) in: AI Tools, Machine Learning, etc., as well as with an object-oriented language (preferably Java) and Typescript/JavaScript
• You are familiar with best practices in Software Engineering (CI/CD, test automation, keeping technical debt low)
• You have knowledge in data architectures and models, React, NodeJS and/or cloud native technologies - thats nice to have
• You have valid work permit and resident permit for Austria.
• You have very good analytical thinking skills and the ability to explore, research and drive new things forward.
• You excel in teamwork, work independently, listen actively, and follow up proactively with outcome-oriented ideas.
• You possess excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) and effectively interact with colleagues.

• Compensation: The minimum salary is EUR 3.200,- gross per month (14x) on a full-time basis. However, we offer a salary which is above the minimum of Austrian IT collective agreement and in line with the market, depending on your specific qualifications and professional experience.
